COSIA representatives had a meeting with the Development Commissioner (MSME), Government of India Mr. Shailesh Kumar Singh on 10.03.2022 at the MSME Development Institute, Mumbai. COSIA has requested the DC MSME for a support to organize VenDex a Vendor Development cum Industrial Exhibition and MSME Manthan – a multisession seminar for MSMEs.

COSIA jointly with MSME DI Mumbai had successfully organized VenDex and MSME Manthan thrice during 2016 and 2017 in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. COSIA also raised several long pending MSME issues like delayed payment, effective implementation of credit support schemes, difficulties caused by extension of Bank guarantee claim period by banks etc.

The DC MSME assured the COSIA delegation, comprised of Mr. Ninad Jaywant – Hon. Gen. Secretary and Mr. Nipun Mehta – Hon. Jt. Secretary, to resolve these issues suitably.
